Buenos Aires

Although Montevideo isn't far from Buenos Aires, we didn't make the trip across the Rio as often as I expected. We did visit the bigger city a couple of times (and flew in and out a few more.) It's an interesting place.

What is that obelisk featured at the very beginning that has such a strong resemblance to the Washington Monument?

It's a monument celebrating Buenos Aires 400th anniversary and it's a popular landmark in the city. It's simply known as "el obelisco"
